Claire Markwick:

It is your birthright. Let's rise together with fire and

Claire Markwick:

become the next theists woman rising. Hello, hello. This is

Claire Markwick:

really exciting because this is actually my first interview for

Claire Markwick:

the fierce woman rising podcast and I am so very, very excited

Claire Markwick:

to have a beautiful beautiful lady here to share her story.

Claire Markwick:

Robin and I met quite some time ago now I'm sure that she'll

Claire Markwick:

sort of share a bit about that in her in her story. But Robin

Claire Markwick:

is a breast cancer survivor, a mother of seven now adult

Claire Markwick:

children all of which she homeschooled which considering

Claire Markwick:

I'm homeschooling one teenager, I take my hat off to you. She is

Claire Markwick:

a passionate entrepreneur with a mission to empower women towards

Claire Markwick:

a life of abundance and purpose. Rooted in personal development.

Claire Markwick:

She inspires midlife women to seize opportunities for

Claire Markwick:

financial security and personal fulfillment. Robin is a

Claire Markwick:

beautiful soul and a trusted and your trusted partner on your

Claire Markwick:

journey to unlocking new levels of impact and meaning. Warren

Claire Markwick:

Welcome. How good was that as an intro?

Robyn Jordan:

That was beautiful, that we get to

Robyn Jordan:

connect in this space after you know meeting all those years ago

Robyn Jordan:

and our personal development journey.

Claire Markwick:

Absolutely. And I think both of us were really

Claire Markwick:

different people then why don't we why don't we start there? Why

Claire Markwick:

or even before that, why don't we start with let's start with

Claire Markwick:

the sky fill us in with a bit of a bit of your background so we

Claire Markwick:

can get a picture of the woman you are now.

Robyn Jordan:

Oh, well, what I have now? Well, I'm 62 I'm

Robyn Jordan:

really only 35. And the side though, so even to say those

Robyn Jordan:

numbers feels like I'm a New Zealander came over to Australia

Robyn Jordan:

like 15 years ago for the land of opportunities to have a fresh

Robyn Jordan:

start and bought a piece of land and rural Victoria. And really,

Robyn Jordan:

you know, life doesn't turn out how we always think it's going

Robyn Jordan:

to and it has been a journey of that and really finding myself

Robyn Jordan:

through a lot of challenges. So a broken marriage going through

Robyn Jordan:

breast cancer and just really finding myself in a place that I

Robyn Jordan:

think, how did I get here and yet knowing deep within clear

Robyn Jordan:

that there was more for me, and then my life had meaning and I

Robyn Jordan:

think that's we breast cancer was one of my greatest gifts

Robyn Jordan:

because I was in a dark place that you know, my marriage was

Robyn Jordan:

having problems and and I was challenged that we were living

Robyn Jordan:

how we were living and with that diagnosis that really made me

Robyn Jordan:

realize that my life mattered and that I actually love life I

Robyn Jordan:

had all these dreams and that if it had been shortened, I would

Robyn Jordan:

really have had regrets. So that fuels me a great deal and then I

Robyn Jordan:

found myself when I was on my own working in health care and

Robyn Jordan:

dealing with all these beautiful old souls that would say to me,

Robyn Jordan:

Robin, I left it too late, don't you? And so anytime I'm feeling

Robyn Jordan:

like a bit nervous or should I do what I you know, desire to

Robyn Jordan:

do? I think yes,

Claire Markwick:

just do it. Just do it.

Claire Markwick:

Simply because this is the stories that I heard clear of

Claire Markwick:

people settling and people giving up on their dreams,

Claire Markwick:

people just feeling at the end of the life that it was too late

Claire Markwick:

for them. And, you know, since I took that journey and personal

Claire Markwick:

development one of my most impactful quotes that I really

Claire Markwick:

hold deep within me because of my own personal journey was from

Claire Markwick:

Henry Thoreau that says most men and woman are living a life of

Claire Markwick:

quiet desperation and they die with a song and son. And you

Claire Markwick:

know, that was like, you know that dagger in me I thought that

Claire Markwick:

was exactly what it would have been like if I'd lost my life

Claire Markwick:

and just only this week there's been a beautiful woman and you

Claire Markwick:

know, marketing arena. That's Last two life at 34. My guilt my

Claire Markwick:

friends had a working colleague 31 died suddenly and, you know

Claire Markwick:

these things i Yeah, they really feel me because I realized we

Claire Markwick:

don't have, we're not going to promise for tomorrow, and that

Claire Markwick:

our life matters in the here and now and the decisions we make

Claire Markwick:

today are going to impact our future and what the heck is

Claire Markwick:

holding us back from, you know, our deepest dreams?

Claire Markwick:

Oh my gosh, it's such a it's such an eye opener when you hear

Claire Markwick:

stories like that, isn't it? You know, 3431 years old, like, to

Claire Markwick:

too soon. And I just, you know, I resonate. I mean, I am not a

Claire Markwick:

breast cancer survivor. But I resonate with the, you know, you

Claire Markwick:

just don't know what tomorrow is going to bring. And I made a vow

Claire Markwick:

when I immigrated over to Australia, I made the vow of you

Claire Markwick:

know, I'm, I'm never gonna live a life of what ifs because

Claire Markwick:

obviously, you're immigrating to a new country, you would know as

Claire Markwick:

well, if you know, your your jump was a bit smaller than

Claire Markwick:

mine. But you know, it's big. And he's like, I'm leaving

Claire Markwick:

everyone behind. I'm leaving everything behind. I'm leaving

Claire Markwick:

everyone that I know, I know. I've got a there's a pool for me

Claire Markwick:

coming here. But is it gonna work out? I don't know. But I

Claire Markwick:

made it, I made a decision for myself at that point that I was

Claire Markwick:

never going to live with a what if so, if I had a pool, if I had

Claire Markwick:

an inkling, if I had some kind of thing, nudging me, then I had

Claire Markwick:

to at least explore it. So that I couldn't then say, Oh, what if

Claire Markwick:

I just tried that? Or what if what if it had have worked out?

Claire Markwick:

You know, if I tried it, and it failed? So be it. I didn't have

Claire Markwick:

the what if and that's something I try and live by now.

Robyn Jordan:

I love that. I think it's a journey of

Robyn Jordan:

embracing and building muscle around uncertainty and backing

Robyn Jordan:

yourself, isn't it and be looking for ways that things

Robyn Jordan:

will work rather than for reasons why they want? Yeah,

Claire Markwick:

yep. And I always remember that, like we so

Claire Markwick:

it would have been, what about 2017 2018 our paths crossed? I

Claire Markwick:

think, for the first time, when we both were doing our coaching,

Claire Markwick:

coaching, training, and we and at the Coaching Institute in

Claire Markwick:

Melbourne and and, you know, we spoke a lot over those years,

Claire Markwick:

didn't we? Like we'd always have weekly conversations, we

Claire Markwick:

practice our skills on each other. And, you know, I think of

Claire Markwick:

I think of me back then I think of you back then and we're very,

Claire Markwick:

very different people, but also the same people, I think always,

Claire Markwick:

like deep down where we are, you know, we were ourselves at our

Claire Markwick:

core, aren't we, but just life happens and shit happens. And we

Claire Markwick:

kind of built this crust around us. And I guess the journey for

Claire Markwick:

those that feel so inclined is to chip away at that crust,

Claire Markwick:

isn't it and get back to sort of our core where we started from.

Robyn Jordan:

Absolutely. And, you know, that's their whole

Robyn Jordan:

identity journey, isn't it? And I realized that I my identity

Robyn Jordan:

was glued to the vehicle of Mark Pinter and you know, I had a

Robyn Jordan:

journey of uncoupling from that, you know, to find out really who

Robyn Jordan:

was Robin now, and I really love that that I as you said, we

Robyn Jordan:

really are the same we're actually more our true selves

Robyn Jordan:

now because we've realizing, you know what we really do desire in

Robyn Jordan:

life what are our values what we stand for, and we've found like

Robyn Jordan:

minded people to journey life with that think a bit like us

Robyn Jordan:

that we don't want to settle that we want more freedom, we

Robyn Jordan:

want more adventure. Heck, I want one fun, you know, is the

Robyn Jordan:

here's the ticking by and I think I don't have time to waste

Robyn Jordan:

you know, and every day matters. So I'm living my best life every

Robyn Jordan:

single day with you know, that's still the focus on some of my

Robyn Jordan:

bigger dreams. Yeah,

Claire Markwick:

I always remember that about our

Claire Markwick:

conversations and I have held this the words that you've said,

Claire Markwick:

so close to my heart, you know, and I've shared them with so

Claire Markwick:

many people over the years you know, I always remember you

Claire Markwick:

saying, you know, there was always something like I would

Claire Markwick:

just wait until the kids started school or you know, got school

Claire Markwick:

got through school, then it's I'll just wait till this and

Claire Markwick:

I'll just do this and now one of the kids is doing this and I'll

Claire Markwick:

just wait till this and then as you said before, before you knew

Claire Markwick:

it it's like okay, well they will find the nest now. Your

Claire Markwick:

identity was so tired to motherhood and being busy and

Claire Markwick:

obviously having such a large family and homeschooling the

Claire Markwick:

more when when that all changed. That that Who the hell am I now

Claire Markwick:

question like it's something that is coming up with people

Claire Markwick:

I'm talking to now. It hits us anyway at a point in life,

Claire Markwick:

doesn't it? But for you in particular, it would have hit

Claire Markwick:

really hard.

Robyn Jordan:

Well, there was a lot of broken pieces along the

Robyn Jordan:

way that I really had to put back together. And you know,

Robyn Jordan:

it's been some thing that I could never have imagined or

Robyn Jordan:

foreseen that I would have had to go through. And yet, I really

Robyn Jordan:

love where I'm at, I love who I am, I love what I'm creating.

Robyn Jordan:

And it's not all about me, you know, my, I have a burning

Robyn Jordan:

mission to impact the lives of other woman that, like me, when

Robyn Jordan:

my marriage ended, I was lining up for food vouchers. And so,

Robyn Jordan:

you know, eight years ago, and that's sort of unconceivable to

Robyn Jordan:

me now. And Anita, I'm just so grateful for some of these

Robyn Jordan:

lessons. And yet, I, my mission, I guess, is to help women avoid

Robyn Jordan:

us to, you know, equip themselves with financial

Robyn Jordan:

security, to be able to make choices for their safety or

Robyn Jordan:

their well being, and to be able to actually have choices along

Robyn Jordan:

the way to to take more care of themselves, because that was

Robyn Jordan:

something that I was very, very good at caring for other people.

Robyn Jordan:

It really, I believe, you know, with my breast cancer journey, I

Robyn Jordan:

did not listen to my body, I was very good at overriding what my

Robyn Jordan:

body was screaming out to me, and I just worked and pushed and

Robyn Jordan:

yeah, denied so many of my own internal drains. And yeah, it's

Robyn Jordan:

so beautiful to be on that path now of creating them and seeing

Robyn Jordan:

the reality of that. And yet, you know, what's the point

Robyn Jordan:

unless you can enjoy it with other people?

Claire Markwick:

Yeah, exactly. Exactly. I want to I'm really

Claire Markwick:

curious, because obviously, this this podcast, the whole purpose

Claire Markwick:

of this podcast is sharing women's inspirational stories on

Claire Markwick:

how how they came to find the business that we now operate in,

Claire Markwick:

in the high ticket affiliate marketing space, how, how they

Claire Markwick:

how you came to find that space, and what it's now allowing you

Claire Markwick:

to, to achieve, and how it's allowing you to live. And so you

Claire Markwick:

know, when I when I think back to when we, when we first met,

Claire Markwick:

you know, we were both training to be coaches. And I think at

Claire Markwick:

the time you were also partnering with some other lower

Claire Markwick:

ticket businesses, I seem to recall. So what was what was the

Claire Markwick:

journey for you? Like, what, how, what, what did that look

Claire Markwick:

like? You know, you'd had that sort of line in the sand moment

Claire Markwick:

you'd you'd got through breast cancer, you've got through a

Claire Markwick:

marriage breakup. You've got through all the kids flying the

Claire Markwick:

coop? What was that journey? What led you to find this and

Claire Markwick:

use this as your vehicle for living your purpose?

Robyn Jordan:

Great question clear? Well, I did have one son

Robyn Jordan:

still with me. And he was at high school I had to put him in

Robyn Jordan:

the last three years. And I remember him telling me, I was

Robyn Jordan:

ruining his life, to go to school. So that was a good thing

Robyn Jordan:

in many ways, that he really loved and cherished his

Robyn Jordan:

homeschooling times. But anyway, I had joined age and aged care

Robyn Jordan:

training course. And so I ended up working in private hospital

Robyn Jordan:

as a personal carer. When I first left, you know, my

Robyn Jordan:

marriage ended. So then I started the personal development

Robyn Jordan:

route, where I was training, I was doing all of this after my

Robyn Jordan:

job, and oh, it was a never ending cycle with the marketing.

Robyn Jordan:

That's what I found. Like, I just love personal development,

Robyn Jordan:

I love transformation that lights me up no in and you know,

Robyn Jordan:

human behavior is fascinating. And that is like one aspect of

Robyn Jordan:

having a coaching business. The other aspect was marketing,

Robyn Jordan:

getting yourself out there, you know, connecting with new leads

Robyn Jordan:

all the time creating courses, and I was just getting burned

Robyn Jordan:

out. And I've always been an entrepreneur, as far as I've

Robyn Jordan:

always dabbled, use low ticket, network marketing, journeys, and

Robyn Jordan:

never really made any money with that, but often love the

Robyn Jordan:

products and even now, today, I'm still on some, but I

Robyn Jordan:

realized that what I was doing was just not gonna get me to

Robyn Jordan:

living the life that I really dream of. And part of that is

Robyn Jordan:

travel. Part of that is making greater impact with woman in the

Robyn Jordan:

area of financial security. Because as I looked back and

Robyn Jordan:

reflect now, that was my greatest chasm, my that gap in

Robyn Jordan:

my life was the financial side of it. I, you know, I realized

Robyn Jordan:

that I gave and I gave my power away so much as a young woman,

Robyn Jordan:

and as far as financial literacy and empowering myself to manage

Robyn Jordan:

my own finances, and it was not that I didn't know how to but in

Robyn Jordan:

a way it was conveyed eventually, it'll take take

Robyn Jordan:

over. But then I realized, actually, I had no control over

Robyn Jordan:

anything in the end. And in so I was left in a very, very

Robyn Jordan:

vulnerable position. And this has shown me and highlighted

Robyn Jordan:

with so many other woman the highest poverty and homelessness

Robyn Jordan:

at risk demographic in this country and around the world, in

Robyn Jordan:

fact, and it's like, I've put that line in the sand and said,

Robyn Jordan:

that's just not good enough for the beautiful souls that have

Robyn Jordan:

given so much of the life. So it was actually coaching friends

Robyn Jordan:

that had given up who who job and was doing coaching, while I

Robyn Jordan:

thought it was coaching full time. So I reached out to her

Robyn Jordan:

and I said, What are you doing? How do you make it happen?

Robyn Jordan:

Because I would have good months at my coaching practice, and

Robyn Jordan:

then it would be like, you know, scarcity, and the often wanting

Robyn Jordan:

someone's results more than your own. And then you'd be chasing

Robyn Jordan:

up payments. And I just thought, oh, my gosh, you know, it was a

Robyn Jordan:

never ending bucket of debt to pay for a business coach, do I

Robyn Jordan:

need to pay for this, you know, to get out. And I'm not afraid

Robyn Jordan:

of, you know, diving in and learning new things. But it was

Robyn Jordan:

just like, there was a never ending cycle. So this friend of

Robyn Jordan:

mine said, what she was doing that she was, had was building a

Robyn Jordan:

brand and getting paid to be here. And I thought what that

Robyn Jordan:

means getting paid to be you. Yeah, so tell me more why. And,

Robyn Jordan:

yeah, so it unfolded that I found high ticket affiliate

Robyn Jordan:

marketing. And the beautiful thing was that a product that

Robyn Jordan:

really aligned with my health and wellness values, and the

Robyn Jordan:

people that were in it, were just empowered, they were, you

Robyn Jordan:

know, chasing chasing the dreams, they were really to

Robyn Jordan:

create change, and I just love being around positive, uplifting

Robyn Jordan:

people that are really wanting to squeeze the goodness of life

Robyn Jordan:

out, and not having to do this journey yet ourselves. That is

Robyn Jordan:

just, you know, I came into it for the financial security, but

Robyn Jordan:

I have received so much more.

Claire Markwick:

Oh, totally, totally resonate with that, with

Claire Markwick:

all of that, you know, the coaching side of it, you know, I

Claire Markwick:

love I absolutely love. The part of my coaching and facilitation

Claire Markwick:

business that I really loved was you know, helping people and

Claire Markwick:

just sharing a nugget that someone you know, you could just

Claire Markwick:

see someone's eyes light up, you could feel the energy just

Claire Markwick:

bounce out of them. And it's like, man, that's exactly what

Claire Markwick:

they needed. And, you know, I would come away from sessions or

Claire Markwick:

programs I was running just so fired up. And so like, Yes, this

Claire Markwick:

is, this is what it's all about, this is what I'm here for that

Claire Markwick:

then exactly like you say, you've got the flip side of it,

Claire Markwick:

you've got all that back end stuff. And you know, or the

Claire Markwick:

admin or the marketing or the tech or the content creation or

Claire Markwick:

the you know, the recording the editing that this that that and

Claire Markwick:

it just it literally got to the point where, you know, I was

Claire Markwick:

totally broken. I've shared my story in another episode and

Claire Markwick:

yeah, so to to to find something that we can essentially do the

Claire Markwick:

fun bits, can't we? You know, as coaches Yeah, we can do the fun

Claire Markwick:

bits we can do the bits that light us up, we can make the

Claire Markwick:

impact. We can help people we can, we can empower people, but

Claire Markwick:

we don't have to do any of that other stuff anymore.

Robyn Jordan:

Well, that was the game change when I realized that

Robyn Jordan:

I could bring my passion for change and transformation for

Robyn Jordan:

woman into the arena. That was my gap as a woman rebuilding

Robyn Jordan:

your life. I thought, ah, because it took me a while to

Robyn Jordan:

think how can I bring this into my coaching business? Yes. And

Robyn Jordan:

when I saw it, it was like, I got that epiphany and I thought

Robyn Jordan:

yes, this is good. And yeah, it's really has been a game

Robyn Jordan:

changer with the automation and just following a proven system

Robyn Jordan:

and really getting paid to be who we are. This is it. It's

Robyn Jordan:

just like sharing our life, sharing our story sharing the

Robyn Jordan:

fun, the good, the bad, the ugly. relatable, you know, to an

Robyn Jordan:

ordinary people because that's exactly what we are. You know,

Robyn Jordan:

I'm 62 I've been a homeschooling mom for many decades. And I

Robyn Jordan:

really love all that I you know, I've learned techy things and

Robyn Jordan:

you don't have to be techie. But there is so much support and

Robyn Jordan:

done for you systems that this has really been something that

Robyn Jordan:

I'm just so I was so grateful that I wasn't closed minded to

Robyn Jordan:

clear that I leaned in headlock and thought, what if I got to

Robyn Jordan:

lose, you know, and I was the investment into this to get into

Robyn Jordan:

this business the was an investment. And for me, that was

Robyn Jordan:

an issue, you know, the financial side, but I looked at

Robyn Jordan:

not what it was going to cost me, but what the return of

Robyn Jordan:

investment was going to be. And just being able to do it with

Robyn Jordan:

these beautiful woman that I already knew, had built that

Robyn Jordan:

know, like, and trust and knew that I would have that support.

Robyn Jordan:

I just thought, What have I got to lose? I haven't got anything,

Robyn Jordan:

and what if I don't do this? What is my choice, you know, I

Robyn Jordan:

will be still doing the same old thing. And it was, my story was

Robyn Jordan:

that I lost two jobs in the healthcare with all the mandates

Robyn Jordan:

and everything. And so, I am just so so grateful that I had

Robyn Jordan:

already embarked on this journey. So I had this too, as

Robyn Jordan:

was my line in the sand. This was going to be a full time. So

Robyn Jordan:

yeah, and the rest is history really.

Claire Markwick:

And who they say yeah, I, I remember when

Claire Markwick:

when I finally because this was this is as an opportunity is

Claire Markwick:

something that came across my path. A good, a good probably

Claire Markwick:

1214 months before I even decided to look at it. You know,

Claire Markwick:

I was I was like, no, no, I don't do I don't do network

Claire Markwick:

marketing. You know, I'm an I'm an accountant. I'm a business

Claire Markwick:

coach, I do proper business sort of thing. You know, that's but

Claire Markwick:

that's, that's a play business. That's not real. And you know,

Claire Markwick:

the whole it's a, it's a scam, it's a they suck you in with all

Claire Markwick:

the marketing in no one really gets those results, all that

Claire Markwick:

sort of stuff. But then it's funny, isn't it when something

Claire Markwick:

crosses your path? I believe that we see things when we're

Claire Markwick:

meant to see them. And you know, for me 18 Odd months ago, now, I

Claire Markwick:

was meant to see it to open my eyes to it. And I was I was

Claire Markwick:

meant to judge it. I wasn't meant to jump in at that point,

Claire Markwick:

as much as I sometimes wish now Oh, wouldn't it have been

Claire Markwick:

amazing to have come across this 10 years ago, I wouldn't have, I

Claire Markwick:

wouldn't have even seen it 10 years ago, you know, I would

Claire Markwick:

have just discounted it. I don't know if you were the same, but I

Claire Markwick:

would have just discounted it and cast it aside. So you know,

Claire Markwick:

it's come at the perfect time as everything does. You have lost

Claire Markwick:

my train of thought, but I just think it's funny how things

Claire Markwick:

cross our paths for a reason, don't they? And at that point,

Claire Markwick:

we have the opportunity we either as you did lean in, and

Claire Markwick:

at least have a look. Or we judge it like I did to start

Claire Markwick:

with but then it kept popping back and kept popping back and

Claire Markwick:

kept popping back until I was like, Oh my God. All right,

Claire Markwick:

fine.

Robyn Jordan:

And, you know, I hit those some of those stories

Robyn Jordan:

to within my thinking that I saw that this was quite different,

Robyn Jordan:

you know, it's more direct selling. And it's using

Robyn Jordan:

attraction, marketing, and really finding your tribe, you

Robyn Jordan:

know, people that resonate with you that aligned with your

Robyn Jordan:

values align with your purpose. And I really love that, that

Robyn Jordan:

we're not out trying to find it or you know, sign up in person,

Robyn Jordan:

it's with high ticket affiliate marketing, we only need, you

Robyn Jordan:

know, a few people to work together and your life has

Robyn Jordan:

really transformed. And that sounds almost too good to be

Robyn Jordan:

true. But the reality is, this gets to be as simple as we

Robyn Jordan:

choose that we need to be, you know, committed to following a

Robyn Jordan:

system that's already proven. And we use this business model

Robyn Jordan:

that really is taking advantage of the digital world now. And I

Robyn Jordan:

really think if we do not start to think about business in a new

Robyn Jordan:

paradigm, we're going to be left behind and if COVID didn't prove

Robyn Jordan:

to us all that businesses how we've known, a very, very

Robyn Jordan:

vulnerable, and this business head growth COVID Because who is

Robyn Jordan:

not looking for more time, freedom, financial freedom, the

Robyn Jordan:

ability to work from your phone while you're sitting in the

Robyn Jordan:

pool. And literally that's what I have done over and over, sat

Robyn Jordan:

on the beach just out of a pinch myself, I think, oh my gosh, all

Robyn Jordan:

the injuries are hidden health care, and all the politics of

Robyn Jordan:

other people's roles. And I think I've never been to wear a

Robyn Jordan:

uniform. I was mean to be free and I guess I am just this free

Robyn Jordan:

thinker. I've never been frightened to run my own race.

Robyn Jordan:

And obviously, you know, I didn't come from a family that

Robyn Jordan:

had a big family. And here I am having all these children and

Robyn Jordan:

then homeschooling and yeah, I just feel like I didn't set out

Robyn Jordan:

to perhaps choose a different path. But it's just, I have to

Robyn Jordan:

I'm a woman that I have to be true to my own values and

Robyn Jordan:

myself. And I know it when I'm, I'm not walking in alignment

Robyn Jordan:

with that. So yeah, I just see this as an incredible

Robyn Jordan:

opportunity to, for a woman to really thrive and to be able to

Robyn Jordan:

be. And when I say self sufficient, that does not mean

Robyn Jordan:

that you are living in your masculine because I see this as

Robyn Jordan:

enabling women to be far more in the feminine energy that it's

Robyn Jordan:

not wearing that masculine hat all the time having to do all

Robyn Jordan:

the do and go out and chase business and make all this

Robyn Jordan:

money. It's like seeing these woman just rushing in sisterhood

Robyn Jordan:

and self Kia and yeah, I know, it's sounding like I'm painting,

Robyn Jordan:

that could be the roses, there is work to be done, done. And

Robyn Jordan:

there is new skills, and yet, the rewards are just phenomenal,

Robyn Jordan:

clear.

Claire Markwick:

Evie, they are and it's really, it's

Claire Markwick:

interesting that you you bring up the masculine and feminine

Claire Markwick:

energies. And you know, for someone listening in, they might

Claire Markwick:

be like, What the hell are they talking about, you know, it's

Claire Markwick:

completely foreign language to me, but, you know, in layman's

Claire Markwick:

terms, I think as women in the modern day, you know, we we want

Claire Markwick:

to, we work like women work now women have businesses now yet,

Claire Markwick:

we still feel we've we've we've played the mother role, the

Claire Markwick:

housekeeper role. So we're trying to do absolutely

Claire Markwick:

everything we're trying to work, we're trying to bring in money,

Claire Markwick:

we're trying to stand on our own two feet, yet, we're also trying

Claire Markwick:

to be a calm and present mom who doesn't lose their shit and

Claire Markwick:

scream at kids and we're trying to have a tidy household and

Claire Markwick:

we're trying to have a good relationship and we're trying to

Claire Markwick:

be fit and healthy. And we're trying to still have fun. And we

Claire Markwick:

know the importance of downtime and me time and we're trying to

Claire Markwick:

fit that in as well. And that's the that's kind of the masculine

Claire Markwick:

isn't it is that hustle, hustle, hustle got to do doo doo doo doo

Claire Markwick:

all the time. And, like, I know, personally, that somewhere I've

Claire Markwick:

been trapped, and I slip into it. So, so much so, so easily. I

Claire Markwick:

had to remind myself of it just the other night, you know, I was

Claire Markwick:

trying to trying to sort some tech out to make things to make

Claire Markwick:

something happened all automatically and I was like, I

Claire Markwick:

had to check in and I was like, Claire, you are making this too

Claire Markwick:

hard. And that is what I love about the business that we're

Claire Markwick:

now in and like, you are making it too hard. Stop, just stop.

Claire Markwick:

This is fun, this is simple, this is easy. Do it like this,

Claire Markwick:

be done with it, and then use that energy to go do something

Claire Markwick:

else, you know, go play with the kids go for a walk, walk the

Claire Markwick:

dog, whatever it might be.

Robyn Jordan:

Yes, the things that really matter in life, you

Robyn Jordan:

know, when you're when your life is short, and or you're reaching

Robyn Jordan:

the end of it, you look back and think all these things don't

Robyn Jordan:

actually matter. You know, what does matter and it's, as you

Robyn Jordan:

said, being present with your family doing things that, you

Robyn Jordan:

know, contribute into the lives of others. And, you know, what

Robyn Jordan:

you were just sharing before this a big fat lie, you know, we

Robyn Jordan:

feed this lie, and we feed this false illusion of what a mother

Robyn Jordan:

a woman should be. And that is just not easy, because there's

Robyn Jordan:

so many women feeling like they're not enough that they're

Robyn Jordan:

not worthy of, you know, to have things more with ease and

Robyn Jordan:

abundance and that they have to prove themselves to be

Robyn Jordan:

acceptable or to be loved. And that is another layer of you

Robyn Jordan:

know, our journey and we get a lot of personal development and

Robyn Jordan:

the platform that we're part of and yeah, it's like it is an

Robyn Jordan:

internal journey this whole life in the more we focus on the

Robyn Jordan:

external the more we robbed really and just to be able to

Robyn Jordan:

surrender and to allowing life to work out exactly how it

Robyn Jordan:

should and to trust self and back yourself and know that

Robyn Jordan:

we're not alone is you know, when normalizing this rather

Robyn Jordan:

than normalizing the nine to five your kids off at daycare

Robyn Jordan:

picking them up, you know, frantic stress and then dropping

Robyn Jordan:

into being exhausted not able to be present with your husband or

Robyn Jordan:

partner. You know, this is why I believe there's so many

Robyn Jordan:

breakdowns and so many issues is because women are too much in

Robyn Jordan:

that masculine they're having to wear too many hats. They don't

Robyn Jordan:

feel seen. They don't feel heard. They disillusion that

Robyn Jordan:

unfulfilled, full stop. And yet they don't necessarily see that

Robyn Jordan:

the choices can be these to create something different.

Claire Markwick:

Absolutely. And certainly what I have noticed

Claire Markwick:

what I felt myself previous sway. And what I've certainly

Claire Markwick:

noticed, in the women around me and the women I speak to, is

Claire Markwick:

that we feel there has to be a choice. It's like, well, I'm

Claire Markwick:

either a career woman or I'm, or I'm a mom, I'm either, you know,

Claire Markwick:

happy or I'm thin, because I have to diet and exercise and

Claire Markwick:

all this kind of stuff. It's like there's always this either

Claire Markwick:

either either, either, and, and I've always had this internal

Claire Markwick:

belief of that. No, I don't, I don't want it to be either.

Claire Markwick:

either. I want all of it. And, you know, like, you could call

Claire Markwick:

me selfish, like, I've been called pig, you know, pigheaded

Claire Markwick:

selfish, whatever it is, but at the same time, I'm like, no,

Claire Markwick:

like, I deserve this. Like, I could feel it inside yet. I

Claire Markwick:

quietened that down. I was like, Okay, well, maybe I am being

Claire Markwick:

childish. Maybe I am being selfish, maybe I am being

Claire Markwick:

unrealistic and and we quell and quieten our inner voice, don't

Claire Markwick:

we to fit the box to fit the societal norms. And that's what

Claire Markwick:

I really want to smash through this podcast and through these

Claire Markwick:

conversations. And, and I do just before I let you do just

Claire Markwick:

want to put something out there right now, because I have also

Claire Markwick:

had this sort of thrown in my face this week, as well. Like,

Claire Markwick:

I'm not saying if there is someone out here listening to

Claire Markwick:

this, who is, you know, a working woman in a job

Claire Markwick:

balancing, balancing that job and motherhood and every other

Claire Markwick:

part of life and she's feeling happy, and she's feeling

Claire Markwick:

fulfilled? Rock on, we're not we're not bagging that. Are we

Claire Markwick:

at all? You know, it's, it's those women that are in that

Claire Markwick:

situation that feel there's more or feel? Or how would you

Claire Markwick:

describe it,

Robyn Jordan:

what I really see is the golden experience as

Robyn Jordan:

being able to be learned from your feminine energy, your

Robyn Jordan:

heart, that you feel like you can be there for a friend. And

Robyn Jordan:

this is what I see this business giving us with choices is that

Robyn Jordan:

you're driving down the road to visit a friend and you just feel

Robyn Jordan:

prompted, I'm just gonna pull into that flower shop and pick

Robyn Jordan:

up a bunch of flowers for them, or I'm gonna send this to

Robyn Jordan:

somebody or I'm going to surprise you know, we are

Robyn Jordan:

nurturers, we thrive on being able to, you know, make a

Robyn Jordan:

difference in people's lives. And I just think that's exactly

Robyn Jordan:

right, that there are so many women just living a life where

Robyn Jordan:

they are denying their own truth. And I get it that

Robyn Jordan:

sometimes it's too hard to actually even go there because

Robyn Jordan:

what are the choices but I do see if you Why is big enough,

Robyn Jordan:

and you know that another 10 years and other 20 years, you

Robyn Jordan:

know, life is gonna pass you by anyway. And your children, I can

Robyn Jordan:

tell you, you know, homeschooling seven, I had a lot

Robyn Jordan:

of time with my kids. And yet it was gone in a heartbeat. And I

Robyn Jordan:

can remember when my younger son left home at all, he were

Robyn Jordan:

actually when he was 21, I created this beautiful video for

Robyn Jordan:

him and put this really emotional song with it. And I

Robyn Jordan:

just had hitched me that when he leaves, that would be it, you

Robyn Jordan:

know, I'd be on my own. And I just I remember we were in

Robyn Jordan:

lockdown and Victoria and it was cold. And I was lying by the by

Robyn Jordan:

the heat and listening to this video by my eyes out and he came

Robyn Jordan:

in and she goes, Oh man, and he gave me a big hug. It was so

Robyn Jordan:

beautiful. But I just think, you know, these moments are to be

Robyn Jordan:

cherished and how, you know, what regrets are you going to

Robyn Jordan:

have if you're not able to be present. And we are living in a

Robyn Jordan:

life where a lot of women are feeling guilty. And they and yet

Robyn Jordan:

they avoid actually addressing it because they don't feel like

Robyn Jordan:

there's any options out there for them. And we're living in a

Robyn Jordan:

very materialistic world, and I'm all about creating financial

Robyn Jordan:

stability and choices and having abundance. And yet it's often

Robyn Jordan:

the material things are placating, you know, their own

Robyn Jordan:

inner unfulfillment to make themselves feel better, but it's

Robyn Jordan:

actually just Compounding the problem because they have to

Robyn Jordan:

continue to work hard or to pay off this and to,

Claire Markwick:

to have the house and have the car and go on

Claire Markwick:

the holidays and keep up appearances and

Robyn Jordan:

clear exactly. And I think this is the blessing of

Robyn Jordan:

getting to my stage in life of going through facing my own

Robyn Jordan:

mortality that I realize some of the things that really matter to

Robyn Jordan:

me in a flesh car and, you know, all those things don't actually

Robyn Jordan:

matter so much our own vet needs Two years ago, I had this really

Robyn Jordan:

pressing urge and, you know, prompting to get rid of

Robyn Jordan:

everything that I to let go really of things that I thought

Robyn Jordan:

that I was dependent on to be happy, and to travel lighter in

Robyn Jordan:

life. And that's what I did. And it was an emotional journey

Robyn Jordan:

getting rid of things. So I really didn't want to, and I'm

Robyn Jordan:

Freer at, and it's more about experiences now. And that

Robyn Jordan:

contribution and making a difference and an impact. And

Robyn Jordan:

being proud of who I am and leaving that legacy for my kids

Robyn Jordan:

that mum never gave up on her dreams that, you know, she gave

Robyn Jordan:

it a good shot, and she did not lead the trials of life, the

Robyn Jordan:

challenges the pain, you know, determine who she was going to

Robyn Jordan:

be that I was able to rise over that and use that to fuel my

Robyn Jordan:

journey forward. And I will just always be so grateful, I

Robyn Jordan:

wouldn't change a thing. You know, there's things that I

Robyn Jordan:

still feel sad about, or disappointed that I would not

Robyn Jordan:

change them because it's made me to be the woman that I am. And

Robyn Jordan:

I'm way more empathetic and compassionate to people's

Robyn Jordan:

journeys and stories. And one of the things actually, that I

Robyn Jordan:

really love about this community is it's so accepting, yes,

Robyn Jordan:

embracing of everybody, and that we all come with our different

Robyn Jordan:

baggage with our different experiences, but we're accepted

Robyn Jordan:

where we are. And we lifted a higher and yeah, it's certainly

Robyn Jordan:

beautiful gift for us. I really believe and I will always be

Robyn Jordan:

grateful for that.

Claire Markwick:

Absolutely. And you know, someone said to me,

Claire Markwick:

not long ago because we've just got back from from beautiful

Claire Markwick:

retreat in Byron Bay, haven't we? And someone said to me not

Claire Markwick:

longer before I went, Oh, I don't know how you do it. Like

Claire Markwick:

how do you how are you? Are you going on your own? And I you

Claire Markwick:

know, do you know people there and like how to how do you do

Claire Markwick:

it? How do you go and stay somewhere for like, a long

Claire Markwick:

weekend with people you don't even know. And I don't know

Claire Markwick:

about you, but the thought of it in those through that lens

Claire Markwick:

didn't even occur to me. It didn't even occur to me that I

Claire Markwick:

only knew maybe like three of the three or four of the new

Claire Markwick:

almost 20 people that were there that I'd met them before. It did

Claire Markwick:

not occur to me because even though they're physical

Claire Markwick:

strangers everybody there is there for a reason everybody is

Claire Markwick:

there because they're a certain type of person everybody is

Claire Markwick:

there because they realize that there's more out there and I'm

Claire Markwick:

finding it hard to find the words and and as you say, you

Claire Markwick:

know you walk into a room of strangers yet you don't feel

Claire Markwick:

awkward you don't feel strange you feel welcomed you feel loved

Claire Markwick:

you feel nurtured and and I didn't realize that that was

Claire Markwick:

what I was missing. And that was what I was deeply deeply craving

Claire Markwick:

I had no idea absolutely no idea I was so firmly in my masculine

Claire Markwick:

in my hustle in my let's just get shit done. Let's just get

Claire Markwick:

let's just get through the day, that's just you know, and

Claire Markwick:

focusing on the next thing focusing on the next thing I had

Claire Markwick:

no idea how much of a desire I had for connection and that

Claire Markwick:

sisterhood and that community and that is the other beautiful

Claire Markwick:

element of this business that we've chosen to align with isn't

Claire Markwick:

it

Robyn Jordan:

Shiva and you know in this time that we're living

Robyn Jordan:

in people missing that more than ever you know, we're all

Robyn Jordan:

connected on Facebook and social media and yet is loneliness and

Robyn Jordan:

despair is at a you know all time high and to be able to

Robyn Jordan:

share that is just so beautiful and as a single woman now you

Robyn Jordan:

know, I just love that I have these woman in my life and yeah,

Robyn Jordan:

that you are connected with through the internet through the

Robyn Jordan:

phone or through these gatherings together and yeah,

Robyn Jordan:

that's Watch out like my mother's day you know grew up

Robyn Jordan:

with where you supported one another but off site people are

Robyn Jordan:

very much alone. They don't have someone to come and mine the

Robyn Jordan:

children and and then you don't have the funds to be able to

Robyn Jordan:

make certain things happen. And I just think it's about you

Robyn Jordan:

know, breaking down all these walls that are felt, you know,

Robyn Jordan:

that are unrealistic and to be able to open your hearts and

Robyn Jordan:

your lives to you know other to sharing it with other people and

Robyn Jordan:

to collaborate more and to enjoy the journey more with others is

Robyn Jordan:

something that we have lost the art of we are like my

Robyn Jordan:

grandparents and even my parents certainly had more aspects and

Robyn Jordan:

to me the lives lost really rich, they were rich and

Robyn Jordan:

abundant. And, you know, wealth to me encompasses all of those

Robyn Jordan:

aspects clear.

Claire Markwick:

It's not just the money, is it?

Robyn Jordan:

Oh, no, no, no, that's not to mean we need

Robyn Jordan:

money. And people are often triggered by money. And I've

Robyn Jordan:

been triggered by, you know, our Money Story, what we've been

Robyn Jordan:

conditioned with, and this is something that we go into with,

Robyn Jordan:

you know, some of the training, which is so powerful and psych,

Robyn Jordan:

we need to be open to receive, don't we and not be that hero

Robyn Jordan:

that Oh, no, I can do it. I'll do it and sacrifice sacrifice

Robyn Jordan:

that site? What if things could be easier, and that we could

Robyn Jordan:

receive more without the stress without the hustle? And that

Robyn Jordan:

we're in more flow? Yes, right. So more kindness and compassion

Robyn Jordan:

to ourselves as woman and lifting each other up, rather

Robyn Jordan:

than pulling down?

Claire Markwick:

It? Yeah, we can, we could go on and on and

Claire Markwick:

on, with all the you know, all the all the benefits, all the

Claire Markwick:

wonderful things that we're experiencing, because, like, as

Claire Markwick:

you alluded to, and it certainly was the same for me, you know,

Claire Markwick:

it to start with, for me, it was like, right, I need something

Claire Markwick:

that I can build from home, and that I can I want to make money

Claire Markwick:

and I want to make good money, I want the effort that I put in to

Claire Markwick:

reward me well, financially kind of being so I knew there would

Claire Markwick:

be an investment I was like, right? What kind of money can I

Claire Markwick:

make from that investment? And I was, I was still very much in

Claire Markwick:

masculine very much in like accountant mode, you know, it's

Claire Markwick:

like, what is the return on investment in this? And I

Claire Markwick:

started, right, right back, like, after just a couple of

Claire Markwick:

months, I started talking about how this business had changed my

Claire Markwick:

life. And, and Terry, my hubby pulled me up, he was like, Yeah,

Claire Markwick:

a bit premature to be to be telling people how this has

Claire Markwick:

changed your life. And I was like, Well, no. Because it has

Claire Markwick:

because changed my life doesn't mean I now have a million

Claire Markwick:

dollars in the bank changed my life means I can see potential

Claire Markwick:

means I can I feel excited again, I can see possibility,

Claire Markwick:

like I can feel joy, I can I have this weight that was down

Claire Markwick:

over that was on my shoulders is gone. Like, my smile is bigger.

Claire Markwick:

My aura is shining bright. I'm like, it has changed my life.

Claire Markwick:

And I love how you shared the same but different, you know,

Claire Markwick:

from your perspective as well, it's,

Robyn Jordan:

I think you're you are you're shining bright, and

Robyn Jordan:

it's beautiful. Because the one thing that this gives us is hope

Robyn Jordan:

and hope for a better way of living, a hope for more

Robyn Jordan:

fulfillment in our lives, you know, a hope that we're going to

Robyn Jordan:

create a better world for our children, our grandchildren.

Robyn Jordan:

And, you know, there's many aspects of this business, we

Robyn Jordan:

could talk about that we probably don't have time, but

Robyn Jordan:

with legacy income and and the thing is, you know, we are on

Robyn Jordan:

that journey to create the abundance, you know, the

Robyn Jordan:

financial freedom. And yet, you know, I just had a sale not long

Robyn Jordan:

ago, and someone came in and joined me in my business. And

Robyn Jordan:

that was equivalent to like two months work of in the health

Robyn Jordan:

care we are I've got rich shoulders,

Claire Markwick:

working crazy ships, like you said before

Claire Markwick:

dealing with all the politics in the ship. Yeah, it's unique in

Claire Markwick:

planning. And

Robyn Jordan:

so it doesn't start the year we build up to

Robyn Jordan:

that. But that is what's possible. And so I'm, I'm a

Robyn Jordan:

great believer that of others can so can I end this by much

Robyn Jordan:

evidence. And I've been on this journey now for two years. And

Robyn Jordan:

so I have the, the fortunate lesson of being able to see

Robyn Jordan:

people's journey, and exactly where they are now. And I can

Robyn Jordan:

tell you, it's like creating lives that they never dreamed

Robyn Jordan:

possible. But it says we're we need to be consistent. We need

Robyn Jordan:

to be committed. We need to not give up at every roadblock,

Robyn Jordan:

because there will be because it's our internal world that

Robyn Jordan:

we're having to deal with. You know, who am I to say this who

Robyn Jordan:

am I to want to be you know, financially secure and abundant

Robyn Jordan:

so that I can use that to make a difference in more lives. And

Robyn Jordan:

yeah, I just love that because you were empowering. We're in

Robyn Jordan:

the business of empowering woman to literally be sly family.

Claire Markwick:

Absolutely. And you know what could be more

Claire Markwick:

rewarding than that?

Robyn Jordan:

Exactly.

Claire Markwick:

What would you what would you say final closing

Claire Markwick:

comments if if there's somebody listening to this who's like oh

Claire Markwick:

my My gosh, like, I resonate with so much of where were where

Claire Markwick:

you were Robin, like I would that was me, you know, like,

Claire Markwick:

what would be your advice to someone going, but I just don't

Claire Markwick:

know how to get out of this. I can't find a way out.

Robyn Jordan:

Yeah, well, first of all, I want to say that we're

Robyn Jordan:

not about trying to convince anybody that this has to be the

Robyn Jordan:

path. And so we're both very, you know, what do we call

Robyn Jordan:

professional woman that reached out to us, and part of what we

Robyn Jordan:

can show you is the automation where we can share a video with

Robyn Jordan:

you a webinar or a masterclass. And to be able to help you get

Robyn Jordan:

an idea of how this business model goes, the compensation

Robyn Jordan:

lien and get curious and get clear on what it is that you

Robyn Jordan:

really want in life?

Claire Markwick:

Absolutely, absolutely. And I'll put, I'll

Claire Markwick:

put the links to, to your socials in the show notes to

Claire Markwick:

this episode. So wherever anyone's listening from, they'll

Claire Markwick:

be able to connect with yourself for myself and future episodes

Claire Markwick:

of the show as well. So, so good. Any final closing

Claire Markwick:

comments, words of wisdom?

Robyn Jordan:

Well, ask yourself, you know, what is

Robyn Jordan:

keeping you so loyal to something that's keeping you so

Robyn Jordan:

stuck? And you know, for me, it was I always asked my quiz. The

Robyn Jordan:

question is, Will I regret this? Will I regret not, you know,

Robyn Jordan:

giving something a go? Well, I, you know, get down the road 10

Robyn Jordan:

years and think you know what, I should have done this. And I

Robyn Jordan:

love that you've stepped out and you've done your podcast again,

Robyn Jordan:

and I'm honored to be your first guest. It's really special.

Robyn Jordan:

Because you've always had a soft spot in my heart, and you know,

Robyn Jordan:

through sharing similar journeys. So the thing is, don't

Robyn Jordan:

think that you can't, you are not the exception. And I'll

Robyn Jordan:

leave that with you.

Claire Markwick:

Absolutely love it. Robin, it's always a

Claire Markwick:

pleasure. I absolutely love talking with you. Thank you so

Claire Markwick:

much. And I am so happy that you're you're my first guest on

Claire Markwick:

this brand new show. And I'm super excited for for your

Claire Markwick:

journey for my journey for the women who are going to join us

Claire Markwick:

and impact change their lives and impact the lives of those

Claire Markwick:

around them as well. And I'm really excited for the

Claire Markwick:

conversations yet to come. So thank you. I really appreciate

Claire Markwick:

your time.

Robyn Jordan:

Thank you clear so much.

Claire Markwick:

Ah, what an epic, epic conversation. I just,

Claire Markwick:

every time I speak to Robin, I just feel I don't know, calm. I

Claire Markwick:

just feel grateful I have a beaming smile, like my cheeks

Claire Markwick:

are glowing now like that. She just has the most beautiful

Claire Markwick:

energy, I think and there's always so much gold from every

Claire Markwick:

conversation that we have. So I trust that that came through for

Claire Markwick:

you as well. And as I said at the end of that conversation,

Claire Markwick:

I'll post all of Robins, socials and contact details in the show

Claire Markwick:

notes of this episode. So wherever you're listening to

Claire Markwick:

this from jump on to that app and have a look through the show

Claire Markwick:

notes, and you'll find Robins contact details. If that's

Claire Markwick:

something that you are feeling called to do to connect with

Claire Markwick:

her, you will be able to do it. So thank you so much for lending

Claire Markwick:

me your ears for this conversation. I'm really excited

Claire Markwick:

for the things to come for this podcast. My my mission with it

Claire Markwick:

is really to share the diversity of women who are within this

Claire Markwick:

community who have decided that they want more and like we said

Claire Markwick:

through that conversation, this isn't Pooh poohing people who

Claire Markwick:

don't want more This isn't Pooh poohing you if you have a

Claire Markwick:

traditional business, if you have a nine to five, if you're a

Claire Markwick:

stay home mom, wherever you're at, if you are happy and

Claire Markwick:

contented and fulfilled with where you are then that is so

Claire Markwick:

perfect. And you know, keep doing you. It's amazing. This

Claire Markwick:

show can act as a pathway as a gateway as a doorway to walk

Claire Markwick:

through if you're someone who is not quite where you want to be.

Claire Markwick:

Or if you've got that deep rooted feeling inside that far

Claire Markwick:

out. I'm here for more like surely there's more to life than

Claire Markwick:

this surely this isn't it. You know, I had that like yearning I
